About the maker:
Residing in Foley, Alabama, Rad Davis has developed a natural talent for
fine craftsmanship of Briar Pipes. Rad's pipes are crafted from Select
pieces of fine Grecian Plateau Briar or Super Select Aged Italian Briar.
Each pipe is shaped by hand to accentuate the quality of the grains. You
will never find a fill in a Rad Davis pipe. Rad takes care to select only
the best blocks of briar.. Rad has mastered the fine art of cutting a
comfortable stem. Only the finest German Ebonite and Acrylic used, and
they are superbly engineered and Hand-cut to perfection. Rad Davis pipes
will provide a sweet cool smoke from start to finish, and they will last a
lifetime.
Rad Davis Pipes are now available in three different finishes.
Smooth: Briar that has superb grains and are absent of cosmetic flaws.
Sand Blasted: Blasted to a Fine detail and craggy texture of the natural
grains.
Blasticated: Rad has started to Rusticate a few of his pipes and then Sand
Blast which produces a very fine textured finish.
