Romeo Domenico

Romeo Briar is a family business founded in 1950.
Vinci Domenico, (Romeo Fillipo's uncle) was at that time the director of a large briar factory in Calabria in the south of Italy. He gave the Romeo family the opportunity to start their own briar factory.
35 years ago Romeo Filippo moved to the north, to Taggia, where he built the factory where the business is now situated. Today, they focus more on quality than quantity.
Fillipo's son, Romeo "Mimmo" Domenico, ended up in this business 14 years ago and learned all his skills from his father and his uncle.

Today all the business is managed by him and his father. Mimmo and Filippo are now supplying many of the best pipe makers with top quality briar, and Mimmo is also making some of the finest smoking pipes in the world!  With guidance from his Pipe Making Mentor, Teddy Knudsen, Romeo "Mimmo" Domenico is able to produce these extraordinary pipes from the best Briar available.  Each pipe features top quality materials, innovative design, & meticulous craftsmanship.  A soft pipe sleeve and polishing cloth are included with every pipe.
