Joe Hinkle Pipe Tan Blast Cherrywood Sitter

After much wining and dining (cup of coffee and a jelly doughnut) we were able to convince Joe Hinkle of BriarLab fame to send us a batch of his creations.  We are so grateful he didn't hold out for more (we would have gladly given up the surf and turf for this lot). Small in scale but no less thrilling in detail and design this beard hugger is both rustic and wizened. The natural finish and blast expose both straight and ring grain with a touch of a subtle hand.  The crown and flat sided fishtail stem hint at the comfort a clencher seeks.  All of this would be enough but the smooth rim has a wonderful bevel barricaded by birdseye that only God can paint.
