Developed back in the early 1950's by Sobranie Ltd. and the founder of Smokers' Haven Joseph Zieve. This traditional English blend has the characteristics of the ultimate English Original Mixture. An excellent mixture of the finest string-cut Virginia with prime leaves of Latakia and mild full-flavored Turkish tobacco. Blended in England to our own formula by our friends at J.F. Germain & Sons, one of the most respected tobacco companies in the British Isles and the only tobacco company left that produces blends in the old English style, this mixture of choice tobaccos gives the pipesmoker a delightfully cool and tasteful smoke which burns down to a completely dry ash.
If you are a "gourmet" of pipe tobaccos, you will quickly discover OUR BEST BLEND will suit your taste perfectly. Our one other taste pleasure, food, is comparable to this. What an amazing Tobacco! From the tin note to the last puff, this stuff is absolutely sublime. I had heard these blends were quality blends but I simply can't imagine a better all around Balkan. This will always be in my rotation. People say the Exotique is even better. I can't wait to pen one of those.! The world would be less vibrant if this blend were to go away.
