Thomas James Pipe Sandblasted Teardrop Dublin w/ Polka Dot
Danish inspired, but American in shape, this dark blasted beast has a wonderful dark red finish over a delicate blast with oodles of well crafted details. A bevelled radius on the rim which is rounded down and asymetrical to the shank which in turn has the seam from the teardrop rounding to the dead center at the front of the bowl. But the focal point of this pipe is definitely the wood insert at the top of the bowl. Severely contrasted and perfectly inserted, I can only guess to cover a soft spot, this is jarring placement that comes off really well. Having the pipe in hand you just can't seem to stop looking at it.
