About the maker:
Born & Raised in Moscow, Russia, Alexey Florov developed his skills working as a restorer in a museum of antique furniture.  During this time, he learned about wood as a material and how to develop it into the desired shapes he wanted to create.  He also learned many other skills including how to operate machinery and how to work with many other materials such as plastics, stone, and metals.  In 1992, Alexey moved to the United States of America and has been working as a prototype designer and model maker for a number of premier firms.  However, he missed the intimate experience of holding natural wood in his hands.  In the Spring of 2004, his father in-law dared him to carve a pipe, and soon after, Alexey began producing many pipes for friends and family in the USA.  In Russia, Alexey's pipes have caught the attention of many collectors and pipesmokers, and his background in design has enabled him to create unique works of art.  Alexey uses only the finest aged briar and materials  for his pipes, and they are superbly crafted in designs and shapes from his vision.

Description:
Alexey has developed a light and detailed blast on this featherweight Horn.  The view from above shows an asymmetrical smooth top.  The hand-cut Ebonite stem has an exotic wood inlay and is cut comfortably thin.

Condition:
100/100   This pipe is in Mint Condition and has not been smoked.
