Research indicates that there was no evidence of rings on Vesuvius or Pompei, but after seeing this sitter smoker I am starting to wonder. The rim has a slight profile channel and the shank is capped with a ring of cocobolo. The finish is a shiny saddle brown and the chamber is considerably deep.
